Brian Whalen
Brian carries the kind of in-depth, intuitive experience for construction that can only come from growing up in the industry.
As a 3rd generation construction professional, Brian has learned from his family of veteran, industry professionals since day one what it takes to truly lead and deliver exceptional results.
Far beyond the skills of the actual work, Brian maintains the legacy of relationship-building with clients that has been part of Whalen Construction for decades. From his 15 years in the company, Brian’s approach to teamwork, leadership, and communication helps deliver projects exceeding client expectations.
As a former athlete and coach, Brian knows intimately how to work well in a team to accomplish a shared goal.
For him, the relationships, authentic approach to service, and attention to detail are what define his success in carrying the torch of the next generation of Whalen Construction.
Matt Whalen
Matt first got started in the industry in 1971 working for his father’s general contracting firm, Robert Whalen Company.
Working hands-on within the industry as foreman and superintendent, and then eventually becoming president in 1989, Matt started from the ground-level and learned every aspect of the business through hard work and experience.
Since then, he’s completed hundreds of projects, ranging in size and complexity in both new construction and major renovation work.
Matt’s been offering Owners Representation services since 1984, he continues to use the skills he learned in the field to help Owner’s forecast and solve even the most difficult of issues that arise in the project.
Matt continues to work within the family business alongside his son Brian.
